The second phase of the ‘Ready, Set, Make the Change!’ European Solidarity Corps online course will be launched on 7 January, covering two of the programme’s actions: Volunteering and Solidarity Projects.
This is a free online course, which allows people interested in the initiative to find out more about its opportunities in a flexible and interactive way.
Each new phase is facilitated prior to each 2020 Call deadline for funding, in order to support applicants. The course allows learners to interact through discussion forums in order to raise questions, share good practices and network.
Following the completion of each course unit, there are activities for learners to test their knowledge of the topics covered. Learners will be awarded an online badge for each unit of the course successfully completed, as well as a Youthpass certificate.
The first phase of the course provides an introduction to the European Solidarity Corps, and information on how to prepare an application for the Quality Label and for a project proposal. This content is still available on the platform, so you can catch up with it before Phase II starts.
The subsequent phases will cover Traineeships and Jobs, learning and recognition (Youthpass).
This is the first open and online European Solidarity Corps course. The UK National Agency, in cooperation with the European Solidarity Corps Resource Centre, coordinates and supports its implementation.
