Solidarity Projects Live Q&A

We're hosting a live Q&A focused on Solidarity Projects on Monday 3 February, as part of the second phase of the ‘Ready, Set, Make the Change!’ European Solidarity Corps online course. It's free, but places are limited.

2019 Europeers International Training in Liverpool

Application deadline: EuroPeers Training Course in Bonn

Bonn, Germany

A training course for young people who took part in European Solidarity Corps/Erasmus+: Youth in Action projects and want to share their European experiences with their peers. It will take place in Bonn (Germany) from 18 to 22 March 2020, but applications should be submitted by 9 February.

In 2020, the first deadline for Volunteering Projects, Traineeships and Jobs and Solidarity Projects was extended to 11 February (11am, UK time).

Application deadline: EuroPeers Training Course in Brussels

Brussels, Belgium - FL

A training course for young people who took part in European Solidarity Corps/Erasmus+: Youth in Action projects and want to share their European experiences with their peers. It will take place in Brussels (Belgium) from 21 to 26 April 2020, but applications should be submitted by 23 February.

National Youth Work Conference 2020 in Wales

Join us for the European Solidarity Corps world café table at the 2020 National Youth Work Conference in Wales to find out about the opportunities available for young people and organisations. This event is aimed at youth work practitioners.

Application deadline: Jobs & Traineeships Quality Booster

Finland

This training focuses on the quality elements of Traineeships and Jobs projects in the European Solidarity Corps for organisations that are Quality Label holders (or are in the process of acquiring the certifications for Jobs and/or Traineeships). It will take place in Finland from 3 to 6 May 2020, but applications should be submitted by 12 March.

Live Q&A Start up Seminar webinar

Organisations who had successful applications in the third round of the 2019 Call are learning about all aspects of a European Solidarity Corps project and will be able to ask questions to the UK National Agency team during our Live Q&A Webinar from 11am – 12pm on 1 April.

Application deadline: Eurodesk UK Ambassadors Call

The Call is open until 6 April 2020

Eurodesk UK have an exciting opportunity to join their UK network as a ‘Eurodesk Ambassador’ to help spread the word about international mobility. Being part of the network gives you access to more than 1,100 youth organisations in Europe, and the Eurodesk UK team will provide training, support, and materials, along with website and social media links.

Volunteers’ Week (1-7 June)

Volunteers’ Week takes place in the UK from 1 to 7 June every year, but it has been different in 2020. Due to the Coronavirus situation, however, many organisations have not gone ahead with activities for the week, while others have managed to mark the campaign whilst also following the restrictions imposed by the outbreak.

Application deadline: YOCOMO – ETS online course for youth workers

Online

YOCOMO – an ETS online course on competence-based development for youth workers runs from 30 June to 31 August 2020. This massive open online course will introduce the European Training Strategy competence model for youth workers working internationally and to link it to your personal youth work practice. Anyone can join and learn free of charge.

Learning Networks: Interacting with the media

Extended: The People of Erasmus+ 2020 competition application deadline

Erasmus+ wants to capture the stories behind the people, showcasing the vibrant community that makes Erasmus+ what it is. Share your story on how the programme has impacted you, your organisation or your participants. Enter the competition by submitting your story in 100-200 words and upload a selfie. The deadline has now been extended to 11am (UK time) on 3 July 2020.

Learning Networks: Sharing your project success on social media

The Sustainability Academy is a four-week online training course in sustainable youth work. Using design thinking, we will focus on sustainable development principles, social entrepreneurship and the circular economy, and learn to apply those concepts in youth work. Erasmus+ Key Action 2 extra funding deadline

New Erasmus+ decentralised calls are for Strategic Partnerships projects in response to COVID-19, with a focus on innovative practices in a digital era, and skills development and inclusion through creativity and the arts. The deadline is 11am (UK time) on 29 October 2020.

This expert seminar, held online, will explore the past, present and future of the recognition and validation of youth learning (including Youthpass), taking stock of where it stands and discussing how to contribute to further developments. It will take place from 26 to 27 November 2020. The application deadline is 4 November.
