Funding will be available to United Kingdom organisations supporting young people to take social action, volunteer or work in 2019 through the European Solidarity Corps.
The European Solidarity Corps is a European Union initiative, managed in the UK by the Erasmus+ National Agency. It funds projects open to the participation of young people between 18 and 30 years old that make a difference to society.
Want to apply for funding?
European Solidarity Corps funding is available to all types of organisations, from multinational companies to small NGOs working in local communities.
All the deadlines and application details are contained in the 2019 Call for Proposals (369 KB) and European Solidarity Corps Guide (2.1 MB). The Guide contains detailed information on project rules, funding levels and application processes.
The European Commission has published a corrigendum (335 KB) to the 2019 Call for Proposals. It corrects two deadlines from the original document, published on 10 December. The correct deadline dates are as follows:
- First deadline for the submission of applications for Volunteering Projects, Traineeships and Jobs and Solidarity Projects is 7 February 2019 (instead of 5 February); and
- Deadline for Volunteering Partnerships – Annual Grants Request is 30 April 2019 (instead of 20 April 2019).
- All other deadline dates are correct as published in the Call for Proposals.
There has been no change to the dates found in the European Solidarity Corps Guide. Alternatively, download our 2019 Deadlines factsheet (112 KB) for all dates in one place.
